Sacrament of First Eucharist 2024
Children of Catholic Faith in Year 3 and above, who have not yet received the Sacrament of First Eucharist, are invited to do so on Sunday 2nd June 2024 respectively.
Please register for First Eucharist via the form on the parish website by 22nd March 2024. No registrations will be accepted after this date except via prior negotiation with Fr Peter.
A Zoom information session for First Eucharist will be held online on Monday 25th March at 7.30pm. The children MUST attend a commitment mass at St Augustine’s Church Yass on Sunday 7th April 2024 at 10.15am and preparation liturgies on Thursdays 9th and 30th May 2024 at 6.30pm. It is a requirement that the children and a guardian attend each of these dates, so please make note of them in your calendar. As part of the lead up to First Eucharist, your child is also required to attend at least 5 weekend masses prior to celebration of the sacrament.
