We warmly welcome you to the 2026 Sacramental Program at Saint Augustine's Parish, Yass. This program offers a profound journey of faith for your children, preparing them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation within our parish community.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

For Year Three (2026) students and above, who have been baptised

  • Sacrament Date: Thursday, 26th March 2026, at 6:30pm (Saint Augustine's Church)
  • Registration Opens: Friday, 5th December 2025
  • Registration Closes: Wednesday, 11th February 2026
  • Commitment Mass: Sunday, 22nd February 2026, at 10:15am (Saint Augustine's Church)
  • Preparation Liturgy: Thursday, 12th March 2026, at 6:30pm (Saint Augustine's Church)

First Eucharist

For Year Four (2026) students and above, who have completed First Reconciliation

  • Sacrament Date: Sunday, 21st June 2026, at 10:30am (Saint Augustine's Church)
  • Registration Opens: Monday, 30th March 2026
  • Registration Closes: Thursday, 29th April 2026
  • Commitment Mass: Sunday, 3rd May 2026, at 10:15am (Saint Augustine's Church)
  • Preparation Liturgy 1: Thursday, 21st May 2026 at 6.30pm (TBC)
  • Preparation Liturgy 2: Thursday, 4th June 2026 at 6.30pm (Saint Augustine's Church)

Commitment Masses are essential for families to signify their support for their child’s faith journey. Participation in all liturgies and preparation sessions is crucial to ensure your child feels spiritually ready for these sacraments.

To register your child for any sacrament, please complete the registration process before the deadlines specified above, using the online registration forms found under the Resources heading. Further details about preparation sessions and other requirements will be provided following registration.
