The members of St. Augustine’s Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society wish to convey our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your generosity and kindness in supporting the Society throughout the past year. The response to the 2018 Christmas Appeal was truly outstanding.  This appeal raised $6,200.  In addition to this financial support, the conference received large donations of food, quality toys and gifts for inclusion in the Christmas hampers.

Forty seven Christmas hampers and toys for forty four children were distributed to families and individuals within Yass and surrounding villages.

The generous support of the Yass Valley communities, the social services and business houses of Yass and Murrumbateman, the parish communities of St. Augustine’s and St. Clements Anglican Churches, Mount Carmel parents, students and teachers together with many anonymous donors was astonishing.

I wish to express profound thanks to Mount Carmel School parents and students for the amazing gift of 15 large baskets of food items and quality toys for children.  May I also acknowledge our grateful thanks to the teachers who coordinated the collection and delivery of baskets and toys to the conference room.

Our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for the ongoing generous support of the Vinnies Centre and the Conference; as we together strive to assist those who seek aid in difficult times and hardship.
