Unbreakable Threads – a fantastic read!

“Unbreakable Threads” is the amazing story of an Australian mother, a refugee boy, and what it really means to be family.

Psychiatrist Emma Adams, who specialises in the well-being of mothers and children and lives in Canberra, travelled to Darwin as an observer of conditions for mothers and babies in immigration centres. She expected the trip to be confronting. What she didn’t expect was to return to Canberra consumed by the idea that she must help a sixteen year old Hazara boy from Afghanistan.

Emma is coming to Trader & Co at Yass on Friday 7th December and will speak about this journey and what followed in the hope that this story will be a beacon of hope and humanity.
