Get excited, the Karinya House Mercy Walk is just 2 weeks away and there is still time to register. Previous participants have this to say about the walk:
“The initial appeal was fundraising for Karinya House, which is such a blessing for vulnerable new mothers and their babies, and which operates almost entirely from donations. The length of the walk and my unfitness were definitely a concern.
However, the reality of it was a completely wonderful day, spent in sisterhood, a joyful spirit, in absolutely beautiful countryside, and with delectable catering at stops along the way. It is incredibly well organised, with everything geared for you to make it to the end. It benefits not only Karinya House, but your whole being as well. I can't make it this year, and I am genuinely disappointed. I'll see you there next year!” (Annabelle O’Connell)
“Women walking for women, looking out at fluorescent canola fields, sharing stories of Mums and babies, raising awareness of the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. A perfect Spring day.” (Louise Henderson)
“Mercy Walk and talk for 23km with our women for women who need our help. Yep that’s a half marathon of chat while raising much needed awareness and funds for Karinya House. You have been looking for that spring break to get out those walking shoes and what better way than with friends “ (Kirsty Dwyer)
“The morning tea, the Canola, the morning tea…awesome” (Christine Trezise)
“Did you mention the morning tea?” (Helen Trezise)
