Just a reminder, next Sunday the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), young parishioners from both Yass and Gunning will receive their first Holy Communion. Besides the Vigil Mass in Yass, there will be Mass in Gunning on the Sunday at 8:15am and Yass at 10am. The following Sunday is the fifth Sunday, but due to the disruption of times for our celebration of first Holy Communion, Wee Jasper will miss out and the usual times for Yass, Gunning and Murrumbateman will apply.

Upcoming events:

• Tuesday 18th – meeting of Yass/Gunning Belun, 7pm, at the presbytery. Besides the committee, if you are interested in this outreach to the people of Timor Leste, you are welcome to attend.
• Thursday 20th – Mount Carmel Community Council will meet.
• Friday 21st – retreat day for those preparing for first Holy Communion.
• Saturday 22nd – refugee week events, see notice in this bulletin.
• Sunday 23rd – first Holy Communion for 34 young people from Yass and Gunning.
• Sunday 23rd – learning of other faiths, see notice in this bulletin.
