Next Sunday, 8th September, Yass and Gunning parishes will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Augustine’s, Yass, at 10am. This will necessitate a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion at the usual times in both Gunning and Murrumbateman. I do encourage as many parishioners as possible to attend and support the young confirmandi on Sunday. Mass at Wee Jasper on the 5th Sunday of this month is once again cancelled.
St. Augustine Parish Pastoral Council met this week and reports will be available on our website. The PPC have invited Paul O’Mara, Chair of the Finance Committee, to give an update and explanation of finances at the next meeting.
